Arts Alliance Illinois - Organizing Spaces Interest Form

Arts Alliance is launching a set of three organizing spaces: advocacy-training and strategizing sessions where cultural sector advocates and Arts Alliance staff can deepen relationships across the field, align on shared advocacy goals, and take informed, collective action.

Each cohort will be invited to virtual gatherings on Zoom for region- and issue-focused strategy discussions, legislative updates from the Alliance, and trainings on how to better organize around and advocate for the issues we care about.

OUR ORGANIZING FOCUSES:

Chicago Arts Budget & Infrastructure

Protecting and growing public investment in the arts through engagement with Chicago’s budget process and fostering relationships between the creative sector, city government, and beyond.

Suburban Cook County Creative Ecosystem

Building infrastructure and support for suburban Cook artists and creative organizations through engaging with Cook County government and building suburban networks of power and connection between creative professionals.

Statewide Base-Building

Local advocacy, legislative strategy, and grassroots mobilizing for statewide arts policy and arts education policy wins, with a focus this year on the statewide arts indicator.

Sign up to join one of our three organizing spaces by filling out this form!
